I always try to have apple juice, orange juice, or at least tea before I pop open a can of soda. Lately I have been slacking a little on that :P But I just read this interesting article over at CNN. Here is the basic outline of the article if you are too lazy to read like I am sometimes!

  • Vegetable juice provides vitamins and minerals.
  • There could be interactions between your medications and juices.
  • Some nutrients are removed from the fruit or vegetables when they are turned into juice.
  • Some juices contain potassium which can help balance sodium in a diet.
